Tasks and Functions
According to the presidential regulation Number 24 of 2010 about the position, duties, and functions of the Ministries as well as the Organization, duties, and functions of the Echelon I Ministries as last amended by Ordinance No. 92-year 2011 President, Coordinating Economy Ministry has the task of assisting the President in the synchronize and coordinate the planning, preparation, and implementation of policies in the field of economy.
In carrying out the above tasks, Coordinating Ministry of Economy hosted a function:
a. synchronizing the planning, preparation, and implementation of policies in the field of economy;
b. coordination of the planning, formulation and implementation of policies in bidangperekonomian;
c. control of organizing the Ministry referred to in letter a and letter b;

f. implementation of the specific tasks given by the President.
MISSION:
"Enhance synchronization and coordination the planning, preparation, and implementation of policies in the field of economy".
The mission compiled taking into account the existence of the reform in the field of Economics, economic development within the country or internationally, the condition of the era of globalization that is increasingly competitive, as well as the needs or demands of society that wanted accountability for the implementation of good governance. The mission also hinted at an attempt to improve coordination, synchronization, and better cooperation in the development of the national economy.
