Age based on date of birth listed in diploma in December 1, 2012 at the Ministry of Finance and may not vary much with age requirements employess 2013 or later:
- Minimum 18 years and maximum 26 years for Bachelor S-1;
- Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years for Diploma of Shipping;
- Minimum 18 years and maximum 23 years for General Diploma;
- Minimum 18 years and maximum 26 years for vocational voyage;
- Minimum 18 years and maximum 20 years for General SMK.
