BNPB has the task of :
BNPB has the task of :
- Provide guidance and direction to the disaster relief effort which includes disaster prevention, handling of emergency response, rehabilitation, and reconstruction in a fair and equal;
- Establish standardization and implementation of disaster mitigation based on the requirements of legislation;
- Disaster relief activities to convey information to the public;
- Disaster relief organization of the report to the President every once a month in normal conditions and in emergency situations at any time of disaster;
- Use and account for donations/national and international assistance;
- Account for the use of the budget received from the budget of the State Expenditures and Revenues;
- Carry out other duties in accordance with the regulations; and
- Draft guidelines for the establishment of a Regional Disaster Relief Agency.
BNPB has a function :
- The formulation and establishment of disaster management policies and handling of the refugees by acting quickly and appropriately and effectively and efficiently; and
- Pengkoordinasian the implementation of disaster mitigation activities are planned, integrated, and comprehensive.
